Adjective and Adverbs
An adjective defines a noun or pronoun:
- That guy is so rude!
An adverb explains a verb or anything aside from a noun and pronoun:
- That guy talks so rudely!
Adverbs are applied to reply to how questions. Like;
- How does that guy talk?
- He talks rudely.
Blossoms smell fresh, or blossoms smell freshly, which is correct? Fresh is right because it depicts the smell of blossoms. Smell freshly shows how a rose smells means blossoms do not have noses, so they cannot smell.
